In early May, Compliance Panel of London Bullion Market Association (“LBMA”) approved Independent Auditor’s Report on the Refinery’s Report on Responsible Gold Supply Practices for 2018.
By Resolution No. 104 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated February 13, 2001, MZSS FSE (MZSS JSC, as a legal successor since March 2018) has been included in the list of eleven organizations in Russia, having the right to refine precious metals.
The company successfully competes in this area with the country’s leading refineries. Initial raw material accepted by the refinery for processing is mineral raw material, placer gold, Dore gold, secondary raw material in the form of electronic scrap, jewellery scrap and other precious metal waste, waste catalysts, and solutions containing no less than 5% of the basic metal.
The company applies modern technologies of acid leaching, electrochemical methods of processing, preconcentration followed by smelting and then refining cycle. The variety of incoming raw materials composition requires different processing methods and defines the commercial component of contractual relationship with the Customer.
